President of the Water Holding Company: Raising the levels of preparedness in the governorates in anticipation of rain
Engineer Mamdouh Raslan, Chairman of the Holding and Sanitation Company, confirmed that the state of emergency will continue until the end of the weather wave that the country is exposed to as a result of the air depression, according to the statement issued by the Meteorological Authority and the continuous follow-up with the Meteorological Authority and follow-up rooms in the governorates that were exposed to it, especially in coastal cities.
In the Emergency and Crisis Operations Room of the Holding Company, Raslan followed up on the preparations of water companies in various governorates of the Republic, and the efforts made in dealing with rainwater.
 
The Cairo and Giza Water and Sanitation Company announced the raising of the alert level and the deployment of equipment since dawn today, on all roads, main axes and public squares, according to a statement by the General Meteorological Authority.
The General Meteorological Authority indicated, in a statement, that there were chances of rain falling in some governorates.
More than 225 equipment were stationed Equipment of the Cairo and Giza Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, on main roads, homes, and bridge crossings, along with follow-up, maintenance, and disinfection teams, to deal immediately with rainwater.
