Troubled Morgan Wallen appeared to be flirting with a woman minutes before throwing a chair from the roof of a Nashville bar

Country singer Morgan Wallen appeared to be flirting with a woman minutes before he threw a chair from the roof of a Nashville bar.

Wallen hurled the chair from the Chiefs Bar around 10.53pm on April 7, with officers claiming the chair landed just three feet away from them.

He was subsequently arrested, but was released three hours later on a bond of $15,250. In his mug shot taken after the arrest, Wallen smiled brightly into the camera.

It has now been revealed that Wallen talked to a women just three minutes before he threw the chair.

It is not clear what the two were discussing but witnesses told TMZ that they were flirting and that a member of Wallen’s crew ordered patrons not to take pictures.

They also claimed that Wallen appeared to be intoxicated.

The musician was charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanour disorderly conduct.

According to sources, Wallen was upset after discovering his ex-fiancée Katie ‘KT’ Smith had eloped with Luke Scornavacco on April 3 – just five days after they got engaged.

KT began her relationship with Luke in June 2023, around four years after she called it quits with Wallen.

Luke eventually proposed to the social media influencer, who shares a child with Wallen, on March 29, 2024.

The pair announced their elopement via Instagram only days later with the caption ‘swipe for a surprise’. 

The surprise in question was their wedding certificate from the Wilson County Clerk’s Office in Tennessee, confirming the couple had in fact tied the knot. 

The country singer’s lawyer has said Wallen is fully cooperating with authorities following the incident at the Chiefs Bar and is set to appear in court on May 3.
