Ras Al Khaimah Corniche witnesses heritage performances to celebrate Eid Al Fitr

Ras Al Khaimah, April 11 / WAM / Al Jazeera Al Hamra Folk Arts Society in Ras Al Khaimah organized a distinguished group of traditional Ayyala folk art performances on the Ras Al Khaimah Corniche to celebrate Eid Al Fitr.
These performances, which attracted the admiration of the audience, aim to preserve the various Emirati heritage arts, such as the art of Al-Ayyala, Al-Ahil, Al-Razif, and other arts, and to revive popular traditions, teach them to the new generation, and preserve them from extinction.
Folk arts represent part of the country’s popular heritage. Ahzbaj, traditional songs, folklore, and poetry are based on the authenticity of the son of the Emirates. Every song or song represents the story of the son of the Emirates and his constant pride in himself and his environment, and demonstrates his close connection to his history, his Arabism, and his connection to the outside world surrounding him across the seas and traveling to the capitals of countries around the world.

The performances were attended by a number of officials, media figures, artists and social media influencers.
Ras Al Khaimah has a distinguished group of folk arts associations that are supported by the state and present their popular performances that preserve the heritage of our fathers and grandfathers.
