The Egyptian Weightlifting Federation approves two camps for those qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics
The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Weightlifting Federation, headed by accountant Mohamed Abdel Maqsoud, is preparing to organize two camps to prepare the players who qualify for the Olympic Games scheduled for the period from July 24 to August 11 next in the French capital, Paris.
It is scheduled that an external camp will be held at the beginning of next June, in addition to another camp that will be immediately before the start of the Olympic Games competitions.
It has been Five male and female players from the Egyptian weightlifting team qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics through the world rankings.
Where each of them qualified: Abdel Rahman Mohamed, weighing +102 kg, Karim Kahla weighed 89 kg, Halima Abdel Azim weighed 81 kg, Nima Saeed weighed 71 kg, and Sarah Samir weighed 81 kg.
Karim Kahla won three silver medals in the weight class. -96 kg in the World Cup Championship held in Thailand, in the clean, fast and total, with a total of 370 kg
