The Emirati relief team shares the joy of Eid al-Fitr with Syrian refugees in Mraijib Al Fahd

Mraijib Al Fhood, April 11 / WAM / The Emirati relief team, the Syrian refugees in the Emirati-Jordanian camp “Mraijib Al Fhood”, participated in the joy of Eid Al Fitr.
Yousef Abdullah Al Harmoudi, Deputy Director of the Emirati Relief Team, stressed the Emirates Red Crescent Authority’s keenness to make children happy, especially in the camp, and to bring joy to their hearts, just like children outside the camps.
Al Harmoudi said: We are concerned, as an Emirati relief team and as a camp administration, with meeting all their needs of food, clothing, medicine, shelter, etc., so it was necessary for us not to neglect the entertainment aspect because of its importance to the child, and taking into account the psychology of the refugees, especially the children among them. He explained that he and the team’s volunteers participated in the performance of the Syrian refugees. Eid prayer, followed by an exchange of greetings and blessings, while Eid gifts and presents were distributed to children and orphans because of their special status.
The camp administration contracted with a local company and held events that included cultural competitions and artistic performances of Emirati, Jordanian, and Syrian folklore, in addition to face painting, henna engraving, and cartoon characters.
The Eid activities, which were held in several places in the camp, were attended by a large number of camp residents.
It is worth noting that the Emirates Red Crescent Authority takes care of all the needs of the Syrian refugees in the camp, who number more than 6,000 refugees.
