Minister of Endowments: One of the signs of acceptance of obedience is its continuity

Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Gomaa, Minister of Endowments, delivered the Friday sermon today, April 12, 2024 AD, entitled: “Integrity and Continuation of Obedience,” at Sayyida Zeinab Mosque (may God be pleased with her) in Cairo.

< p>The Minister of Endowments confirmed that the month of Ramadan is a great month that we spent, thanks to God Almighty, and His mercy, in a great spiritual and faith atmosphere, and that among the signs of acceptance of obedience is its continuity, and obedience after it. yt Upon them are His signs, which have increased them in faith, and in their Lord they put their trust.” So whoever tasted knew, and whoever knew, indulged, and whoever tasted the sweetness of obedience and worship cannot be cut off from it, rather obedience increases him in obedience. Our Prophet (peace be upon him) says: “Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal, it is as if He fasted forever Whoever tastes the sweetness of the Qur’an in the holy month cannot abandon the Qur’an, neither in Shawwal, nor in Dhul-Qa’dah, nor on any day. Every now and then, our Prophet (peace be upon him) says: “God has a family of people. They said: O Messenger of God, who are they?” He said: “They are the people of the Qur’an, the people of God and His special ones.”

He continued: How beautiful it is for us to continue reading what is possible from the Holy Qur’an every day and night, and whoever tastes the sweetness of standing will realize Two rak’ahs in the middle of the night are better than the world and all that is in it, and whoever has tasted the sweetness of spending for the sake of God (Almighty and Majestic) cannot be compassionate to the poor in Ramadan and then withhold his hand in anything other than Ramadan, for giving is continuous, and spending for the sake of God is a great thing, and we are in need of Solidarity and compassion at all times, as the poor are not in need of their support in Ramadan only. When Mrs. Aisha (may God be pleased with her) was asked about the work of the Messenger of God (may God bless her and grant her peace), she said: “His work was constant.” So, we do not need to continue our journey with the Qur’an and fasting. Spending for the sake of God, praying the night prayers, remembering God, and praying for the Messenger of God (may God bless him and grant him peace).

He emphasized that straightness is the opposite of crookedness. They say a straight line and crooked lines, and in Surah Al-Fatihah we read the Almighty’s saying : “Guide us to the straight path,” and the straight path is the path of God (Glory be to Him), as He, Glory be to Him, says: “And indeed, you guide” to a straight path, the path of God, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and On earth, do all matters happen to God? And God Almighty says: “And this is My path, straight, so follow it and do not follow other paths, for lest He separate you from His path.” The path of God is one, the path of uprightness, and everything else is crooked, and our master Sufyan bin Abdullah Al-Thaqafi asked the Messenger of God (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him) to say: : I said: O Messenger of God, say I have a saying in Islam about which I will not ask anyone after you, and in the hadith of Abu Usama other than you, he said: Say: I believe in God, then be steadfast.” And steadfastness means fulfilling the rights of God (Almighty and Majestic) through prayer, fasting, zakat, Hajj, and performing voluntary voluntary prayers, and it also means fulfilling the rights of creation, so it is not possible It is said about a liar that he is upright. Honesty is uprightness and lying is crookedness. Honesty is uprightness and betrayal is crookedness. Eating what is permissible is uprightness and eating what is forbidden is crookedness. And harming people is crookedness. If you are upright, what do you have in this world and what do you have in the hereafter. As for this world, there is peace of mind and tranquility, tranquility, and blessings in money. And the child, Glory be to Him, says: “And if they had remained steadfast in the path, We would have given them abundant water to drink.” As for the Hereafter, God Almighty says: “Indeed, those who said, ‘Our Lord is God’ and then remained steadfast, God will descend upon them.” Angels, do not be afraid, do not be sad, and give good tidings of the Paradise that you were promised. We are your guardians in the life of this world and in the In the Hereafter, you will have whatever your souls desire, and therein you will have whatever you call upon.” The angels descend upon them at the hour of death, confirming them, saying to them, “Do not be afraid of what you are about to approach, and do not be sad about what you have left behind in terms of wealth and children.” We are your guardians in life. life of this world and in the Hereafter,” and as for their reward in This world and the hereafter together, and God Almighty says: “Indeed, those who say, ‘Our Lord is God’ and then remain upright, there is no fear upon them, nor do they grieve.” And what is the matter with you if God is your guardian? If God is with you, then you no longer have to worry about who is against you and who is with you.
