"My timer" He reveals international contacts working to deport displaced Syrians from Lebanon
Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati confirmed the existence of international contacts regarding the displaced and that “no Lebanese can profit from the ruins of another Lebanese.”
Mikati said after his meeting Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rai in Bkerke said that the basic solution to the displaced file is to “consider most of the regions in Syria safe for deporting the Syrians who came to Lebanon under the title of refugees.”
He added: “We are not power enthusiasts and we do not want to monopolize or take anyone’s place. We will continue our government work and try to preserve the pillars of the state.”
He continued: “The murder of Pascal Suleiman is condemnable.” No Lebanese can win over the ruins of the other Lebanese, and the lesson from April 13 is that everyone returns to the state.”
