 The Israeli army announced, on Saturday, a ban on “educational events” In the country, in anticipation of a possible Iranian retaliatory attack, after Tel Aviv assassinated a senior leader of the Revolutionary Guards in a raid targeting the consular section building in its embassy in Damascus at the beginning of this month.

This came in a post by Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari on the X platform.

 

 

The spokesman said: “Starting tomorrow morning (Sunday), and during the coming days, educational events will be prohibited throughout the country.”

 

 

He added: “Over the weekend, we in the IDF held sessions to assess the situation and approve plans to prepare for the attack from Iran.”

 

 

The spokesman claimed that “the forces are prepared in a very strong way defensively and offensively and in a wide spread.”

 

 

He claimed that “since the beginning of the war, we have dealt with various threats that were launched by Iranian agents in the region, such as missiles and drones, and we succeeded in activating our defensive and offensive systems.” And improving it to be better.”

 

Haghari reported, “The Air Force’s defensive and offensive systems remain on alert, and dozens of aircraft are flying in the sky ready and prepared.”

 

 

He added: “We are assessing the situation with our strategic allies, especially the United States, and we are in close coordination with them.”

 

 

Haghari stated, “Earlier today (Saturday) Iran carried out an additional terrorist operation when it seized and hijacked a Western civilian ship,” as he put it.< /p>

 

 

He considered that “Iran remains a real threat to regional stability, global trade, and the entire West,” as he claimed.
