A landslide in Indonesia kills 15 people

Jakarta, April 14 / WAM / The Indonesian National Disaster Management Authority announced that at least 15 people were killed as a result of a landslide in “Tana Turaya” in Sulawesi province.

The authority said that the heavy rains led to the erosion of the soil of residential areas located on mountain slopes, which led to landslides that caused the burial of homes, noting that Tana Turaya and the surrounding areas witnessed heavy rains during the past week.
