Environment continues coastal monitoring efforts and periodic follow-up of natural reserves in South Sinai

Within the framework of the directives of Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, to continue coastal monitoring efforts and periodic follow-up of natural reserves, to determine the availability of all environmental requirements. And means of protection, safety and security for visitors and marine activities practitioners during the Eid al-Fitr celebrations. Dr. Ali Abusna, CEO of the Environmental Affairs Agency, participated in the follow-up and inspection of tourist yachts and coastal activities at diving sites and marine activities in the reserves  Natural resources on the coast of Sharm El-Sheikh and Ras Mohammed Reserve, accompanied by the South Sinai Reserves team.

 

Dr. Yasmine Fouad confirmed that the South Sinai Reserves have witnessed a great demand and demand from tourists from all over the world. During the Eid al-Fitr celebrations, Her Excellency directed the necessity of adhering to the requirements and visiting rules to preserve natural resources.

Immediately, I directed Dr. Yasmine Fouad raised the level of preparedness at the Marine Pollution Control Center (Al-Salam Center) in Sharm El-Sheikh. Abu Sinna followed up on the ongoing legal and technical procedures of the Reserves Department regarding the ship, and directed that the state of preparedness and environmental emergency be raised in anticipation of any leaks or pollution from the ship.
