Higher Education: Announcing the opening of applications for training programs for workers in the information technology sector

Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, affirmed the Ministry’s keenness to advance workers’ capabilities, develop their skills, and support the process of modernization and digital development in Egyptian universities and institutes in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.

In this context, the Ministry of Higher Education announced the opening of applications for training programs for workers in the information technology sector in higher education institutions, in cooperation with Huawei Egypt, in vital areas including: Big Data

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cloud Computing Data Centers Security Access Networks 5G Technology

For his part, Dr. Sherif Kishk, Assistant Minister for Smart Governance, explained that the training program aims to raise the capabilities of workers in the information technology sector in higher education institutions, and keep pace with rapid developments in the fields of information and communications technology, as well as meeting the needs of the labor market and enhancing research skills. Scientific and Development, noting that an initial test will be held to determine the extent of applicants’ familiarity with the basic principles of networks, operating systems, and databases.
