Russia expresses its concern about the new escalation in the Middle East
Moscow, April 14 / WAM / Russia expressed its concern about the new dangerous escalation in the Middle East region, and called on all parties to exercise restraint.
The Russian Foreign Ministry stated, in a statement published on the ministry’s official website, that Moscow calls on the parties to the conflict in the Middle East region to exercise self-restraint, provided that the concerned regional countries resolve the existing conflicts and problems through political and diplomatic means, stressing the importance of international players with tendencies contributing to Constructive at that.
The statement added: We have repeatedly warned that the fragile and unstable situation in the Middle East region, in conjunction with the presence of many conflicts, will lead to a worsening of the situation.
