The President of the State and the Emir of Qatar discuss by telephone fraternal relations and developments in the region
Abu Dhabi, April 14 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” discussed with his brother, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the sisterly State of Qatar, today – during a phone call – fraternal relations and ways to enhance and develop cooperation and joint work. In various fields to achieve the mutual interests of the two countries.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common interest, most notably the situation in the Middle East region and developments in the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. Their Highnesses stressed the need to work to prevent the expansion of the conflict in the region and spare it the consequences of new crises, in addition to creating a political horizon for a just, comprehensive and lasting peace based on the “two-state solution” that guarantees stability and security for all.
