The Ministry of State for Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad received many letters and inquiries from Egyptian communities in neighboring countries that announced the closure of their airspace, as the communities expressed their concern for the future of their students studying and the future of their continuation in universities in light of the current events in the region. In this context, and out of concern for the interests of the Egyptian communities, Ambassador Soha Gendi, Minister of State for Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, directed that lines of direct communication be made available with the Egyptian communities abroad to receive any inquiries and respond to them around the clock, through an operations room that follows up on developments in the situation.< /p>
The Ministry of State for Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad calls on the Egyptian communities residing in neighboring countries to adhere to the directives issued by the authorities of the host countries and the Egyptian embassies in these countries, and to follow up on the Ministry’s statements in this regard, especially in light of what was covered in the media statements issued. Recently, airspace was reopened and air traffic resumed normally.
