Gold continues to rise to record levels and gains $15

Capitals, April 15 / WAM / Gold prices rose during today’s trading, continuing their rise towards record levels, the highest ever.

By 09:51 UAE time, the yellow metal rose by 0.68%, or $15.69, to reach 2,359.95 per ounce.

Gold contracts, for delivery in June 2024, increased by 0.08%, or the equivalent of $1.9, to reach $2,375.75 per ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, silver grew by 0.6% to $28.49 per ounce, while platinum fell by 0.53% to $987, and palladium fell by 0.61% to $1,057.28.
