Tomorrow in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals: Barcelona with Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund with Atletico Madrid

Dubai, April 15 / WAM / Two matches will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the European Champions League, the first bringing together Barcelona with Paris Saint-Germain, and the second with Borussia Dortmund with Atletico Madrid.
At the Luis Companis Olympic Stadium, Barcelona’s task seems relatively easier after its first-leg victory over Paris Saint-Germain 3-2, at the Parc des Princes Stadium, but the decisive rounds in this tournament often witness unexpected surprises.
Barcelona is seeking to qualify for the semi-finals for the first time since 2019, and dreams of lifting the cup for the sixth time in its history, knowing that its last coronation was in 2015 under the leadership of Luis Enrique, the current coach of Saint-Germain.
Spaniard Luis Enrique, coach of Paris Saint-Germain, did not lose hope of qualifying for the next round and stressed that all possibilities are open. He said: “We will go to Barcelona with great desire and ambition, and it will be a final match for us, and I have great confidence in my team.”
At the Signal Iduna Parken Stadium, in the German city of Dortmund, the chances of Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid appear to be close, with a relative advantage for the Spanish team, which won the first leg at home 2-1.
Atletico Madrid aspires to continue its journey towards the semi-finals of the major European championship, in which the runner-up position is its best achievement, when it achieved it three times in the seasons 1973-1974, 2013-2014, and 2015-2016.
The result of the first leg cast a shadow on the circumstances of the return match, while the home owners aspire to remedy the situation and confirm that all options are still on the table, which was evident in the statements of German coach Edin Terzic, Borussia Dortmund coach, who said: “My team deserved a draw in the first leg.” “We are able to adjust the situation, especially if we play like we did in the second half of the first leg.”
As for Argentine Diego Simeone, the coach of Atletico Madrid, he admitted that his team was lucky to emerge with a victory by a goal difference in the first leg.

He said: “We know what we will find in Dortmund. It is a team that plays well and has strong, tall players. We know that we will suffer, but we will find spaces and we must enter the atmosphere of the match well.”
