Zamalek doctor reveals details of Zizou’s injury
Dr. Mohamed Osama, head of the medical staff for the first football team at Zamalek Club, revealed the injury of Ahmed Mostafa “Zizou” The Al-Abyad player suffered a severe bruise on his foot during the summit match that was held today against Al-Ahly in the league competition.
Mohamed Osama added that the player will undergo medical examinations to check on him and determine the extent of the injury.
The head of the medical staff confirmed that the injury of Ahmed Fattouh, the left back of Al-Abyad, is a strain in the posterior muscle, and Muhammad Osama explained that Fattouh wanted to continue the match, but the team’s medical staff refused to risk the player, and it was agreed with the technical staff to replace him. The Zamalek team achieved a precious victory over Al-Ahly by two goals to one in the match that was held between them at Cairo Stadium, in the postponed match of the tenth round of the Egyptian Premier League competition, raising its score to 21 points.
