Paris 2024: Concorde metro station gradually closed from May 12

The Concorde metro station in Paris will gradually close from May 12 because of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, reports Monday April 29 France Bleu Paris.

Service to the station is suspended “due to the organization” of Paris 2024, specifies the RATP. The Paris police headquarters explains for its part that “metro stations which are located within the assembly perimeters” competition venues “will be closed and connections will not be ensured”.

In detail, from May 17, the Concorde stop will no longer be served by line 12. Lines 1 and 8 will no longer serve the stop either from June 17. Gradually, several other stations will be affected. Also on June 17, it is the Tuileries stop, on line 1, which will no longer be served because of the construction site. Finally, the Champs-Elysées – Clémenceau station will be inaccessible from July 1. Lines 1 and 13, which intersect there, will no longer mark the stop.

These closures and temporary suspensions of services are planned until September 21, the end of the dismantling of the Olympic sites.
