$3 gold gains in spot transactions

Capitals, April 16 / WAM / Gold prices rose during trading today, and gained more than $3 in instant transactions.

By 09:54 AM UAE time, the yellow metal rose by 0.12%, or $3.01, to reach 2,385.59 per ounce.

Gold contracts for June 2024 delivery increased by 0.78%, or the equivalent of $18.45, to reach $2,401.5 per ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, silver grew by 0.41% to $28.83 per ounce, while platinum fell by 0.07% to $984.1, and palladium fell by 0.38% to $1,039.03.
