"Agriculture":Continuation "The best of our farms is for our people" Until Sham El-Nessim… Find out the prices

The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation announced the continuation of the Ministry’s exhibition “The Best of Our Farms for Our People” In selling and offering basic food goods and products to citizens until Sham El Nessim at reduced prices.

 

This comes based on the assignments of the political leadership to lift the burden on citizens, and within the framework of continuous follow-up by Dr. Mustafa. Madbouly, Prime Minister, and in implementation of the directives of Mr. El Quseir, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.

Saeed Saleh, Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and General Supervisor of Exhibitions and Outlets at the Ministry, said that in preparation for Egypt’s celebration of the Sham El Nessim holidays, large quantities of herring, fesikh, fish, and eggs will be pumped. Table prices are as follows:

Herring 120 pounds per kilo

Feseekh 270 pounds per kilo

Fish: 65 pounds for a kilo of large tilapia, 55 pounds for a medium, and 45 pounds for a small one, and mullet. 145 pounds per kilo. Saleh confirmed that the Ministry of Agriculture’s surprises and gifts to citizens are still continuing with a five-for-five offer on tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, cucumbers, and oranges at a price of 5 pounds for each item. He pointed out that the prices of local meat are stable at 280 pounds per kilo of local meat, and kofta is 260 pounds per kilo. Liver is 250 pounds, flour is 24 pounds per kilo, rice is from 27 to 30 pounds per kilo, and a carton of red and white eggs is 140 pounds, in direct support to the citizens.

He added that there is great satisfaction from the citizens with the decision of the Minister of Agriculture to continue the exhibition until Sham El-Nessim.

It is noteworthy that the Minister of Agriculture had opened the exhibition “The best of our farms for our people.” Before the beginning of the month of Ramadan, then he decided to continue it until Eid al-Fitr, and in view of the large demand from citizens, the Minister of Agriculture decided once again to continue the exhibition until Sham El-Nessim. He also inspected the exhibition several times to ensure the pumping of goods and commitment to price reductions along with the quality of the products..
