The futsal team advances to the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations

The Egyptian futsal team, led by coach Gehad Arafa, advanced to the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations currently being held in Morocco after defeating Mauritania by seven goals to six.

 

The goals of the Egyptian national team were scored by Khaled Maradona and Mohamed Abdel Hamid Kouki, two goals, and one each by Alaa Issa Donga, Mohamed Saeed, and Abdel Rahman Eid.

The delegation is headed by Mohamed Abu Al-Wafa, a member of the Board of Directors of the Football Association supervising futsal, who confirmed that the team is progressing. On the right track to reach the next World Cup. 

The Pharaohs face Angola in the semi-finals of the tournament. 

The technical staff includes Sameh Saleh, general coach, and Yasser Abdel Khaleq, goalkeeper coach. Dr. Mohamed Akmal is a doctor, Ahmed Mamdouh is a masseuse, Adel Mahfouz is an administrative manager, Mohamed Ismail is an administrator, Wael Talal is a media coordinator, and Ahmed is in charge of missions.
