Emirates Airlines extends the suspension of travel checks for departures from Dubai until tomorrow morning
Dubai, April 17 / WAM / Emirates Airlines announced the extension of the suspension of check-in for passengers departing from Dubai until nine o’clock in the morning tomorrow, April 18, due to the ongoing operational challenges resulting from bad weather and road conditions. This morning, Emirates Airlines announced the suspension of travel procedures for passengers departing from Dubai, starting from 8:00 am today until midnight on April 18.
In a post on the carrier’s account on the “X” platform, the carrier advised customers departing from Dubai not to travel to the airport until after nine o’clock in the morning on April 18, and only if they have a confirmed flight reservation. She told customers, “Do not come to the airport if you have a reservation before this time, as you will not be able to check in.”
The carrier stated that customers affected by flight cancellations can contact their reservation agent, send a direct message to the carrier, or visit emirat.es/support to obtain assistance in rebooking. She explained that passengers arriving in Dubai while waiting for other flights (transit) will have their travel procedures completed as usual, but delays should be expected in both departure and arrival.
It advised travelers to review the updated flight schedules on the Emirates website [emirat.es/flightstatus] To confirm their new flight times. She confirmed that her teams are working hard to restore scheduled operations, in addition to providing safe accommodation and other amenities to affected customers at the airport. She also stressed that her primary concern is the safety of her customers and crew.
