He directed the officials to control, facilitate and expedite the system for receiving the supply of the wheat crop in Al-Shun, and to maintain all Obstacles facing farmers and suppliers, reducing waiting time, disinfecting storage places, taking preventive and precautionary measures, and continuously following up on the work of the wheat sorting and receiving committees through a main operations room that includes all responsible executive agencies.

He also directed the heads of local units and rural units to allocate cars. Free transportation to small farmers to motivate and facilitate them and increase the percentage of quantities supplied, pointing out that the governorate witnessed great successes during previous seasons, as it exceeded the targeted supply by more than 135% last year.

He stressed the need for farmers to commit to supplying wheat to the silos and barns developed and designated for this purpose in order to prevent losses, stressing that the state spares no effort in caring for farmers and providing them with all facilities from the beginning of the harvest until the supply of the crop.

In Qalyubia, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, Eid Abdullah, confirmed the regularity of wheat supply work at the barn and silo levels, as 12 sites were allocated to receive wheat from farmers and to remove all obstacles that hinder the process of receiving the wheat crop to all silos, barns and collection points.< /p>

The Undersecretary of the Ministry said – in a statement to the Middle East News Agency – that the total amount that has been supplied to date has reached 358 tons of wheat at the level of supply places, noting that there are daily and continuous follow-ups on the ground to check on the supply work and provide the necessary support and facilities. It is noteworthy that the local wheat supplied for this year is paid dues to farmers according to the percentage of purity. He explained that the wheat harvest season began in mid-April, with the cultivated area amounting to about 121,000 acres, while the total storage capacity is 250,000 tons distributed among silos, hangars, general barns, dirt barns, and 30 collection centers at the governorate level. The governorate includes 4 silos in Kom Abu Radi in the Al-Wasti Center, containing 12 cells with a cell capacity of 5,000 tons, for a total of 60,000 tons, and a sixth silo that includes 12 cells, with a cell capacity of 5,000 tons for a total of 60,000 tons. In implementation of the assignments of the Prime Minister and Minister of Local Development, Hisham Amna, he directed the Supply Directorate, in coordination with the security authorities, to organize intensive and magnified campaigns to implement the decisions regarding wheat and its supply in accordance with the established controls.

In Ismailia, Governor Sherif Fahmy Bishara said that the silos are a center and a city. He directed the heads of centers, cities, and committees formed regarding the supply of wheat to ensure compliance with all controls approved by the Ministry of Supply regarding the supply of wheat, stressing that all legal measures will be taken decisively against violators or those proven to have tampered with the supply process.
