Drew Barrymore stuns fans with her VERY ‘humble’ kitchen as she shares another rare glimpse inside her ultra-‘modest’ New York home

Drew Barrymore has once again been praised by fans for her authentic and humble nature after she shared another glimpse inside her home, which left people shocked by how ‘normal’ her kitchen is.

Instead of showing off her opulent lifestyle and boasting about her designer items as many other celebrities do, the 50 First Dates star, 49, offered fans a ‘refreshing’ take on her A-list status and how ‘real’ she was. 

The actress and talk show host – who has an estimated net worth of $125 million – went viral on TikTok for her home for the second time after she shared a clip of herself tidying up her kitchen as viewers claimed they ‘loved’ Drew even more because of her ‘humble stove.’ 

Drew – who just last month was branded a ‘normal’ Hollywood star after showing off a transformation of her messy room – is frequently lauded for her down-to-earth attitude and in a recent post on the social media app, she offered up yet another example of how she shies away from the stereotypical celebrity lifestyle. 

The actress was applauded for her ‘modest’ home, with many viewers voicing their surprise that the multimillionaire had such a ‘small’ cooking space. 

She captioned the clip, which has so far amassed more than 1.1 million views, ‘Spring cleaning! It’s time to edit!’ 

‘It’s spring cleaning everybody, look at that now-empty drawer,’ the actress said as she knelt down on her kitchen and began tidying up. 

Drew opened two more empty drawers to boast about her cleaning skills as she scrubbed away. 

And while the actress wanted everyone to look at her spotless drawers, all eyes were on her stove. 

Instead of a fancy stainless steel one, Drew’s kitchen holds a simple white gas stove that looks much more affordable. 

The stove also featured no-frills burners and manual nobs. It also had just one digital screen that shows the time and temperature. 

Many people on the web were stunned by the appliance and took to the comments to gush about Drew’s modesty – with many of them even sharing they had the same stove.

One person said: ‘I love how normal your kitchen is.’

Another user added: ‘A normal celebrity kitchen is refreshing to see. I have the exact same stove.’

Someone else wrote: ‘I just posted on Facebook, “I have the same stove as Drew Barrymore so we are basically besties.”‘

‘Your stove is so humble,’ one fan wrote. 

A fifth person commented: ‘This is not how I imagined her kitchen, that’s real life for us.’

‘A real used kitchen. I think the Drew might be an original,’ a shocked commenter typed. 

This isn’t the first time Drew has gone viral for her humble home. Last month, Drew caught the attention of fans in by sharing a another clip from inside home. 

She captioned the viral video, which has so far amassed over 507,000 views, ‘I love staying in.’ 

As she cooked, tried clothes on, and showed herself eating, the background audio declares: ‘I like staying in. I know everyone thinks it’s boring but it’s really not.

‘It’s the least boring thing. I’m a really happy little hermit. I love being at home . I never want to go anywhere.’ 

The video also featured more glimpses of her home, which she previously told the LA Times was in between New York City and the Hamptons, having relocated from the West Coast to the East Coast so that her children could be closer to their father, her ex, Will Kopelman.

Under that video, people also flooded the comments section, with some admitting that they had expected to see Drew living in a much more over-the-top mansion.

One person said: ‘You give off the vibes of you bought your first apartment and you are still there, so wholesome and cute.’ 

Someone else added: ‘Is it possible that you live in a normal house?’ 

Another person commented: ‘Wait, you don’t have a chef?’ 

‘I just love how simple but sophisticated you live,’ a fourth typed. 

One commenter added: ‘I love that fact that she lives in a regular apartment doing normal things and just living her best life.’ 

‘I love how normal you are,’ a social media user said. 

‘I love that your house looks like a home and not just a show piece,’ another weighed in.

In a separate video, Drew shared she was taking a trip down memory lane by watching The Wedding Singer at home. 

Once again, she left fans in shock – this time over the ‘small’ size of her TV.  

Last month, Drew got candid with her Instagram followers and uploaded a video showing a rare glimpse of her messy bedroom ‘before’ and ‘after’ she cleaned it.

The actress could be seen filming herself using her phone camera as she gave a quick tour of her spacious bedroom that was cluttered with numerous items.

The talk show host, who also revealed that she dyes her own hair at home, began the nearly minute-long reel with an automated voice over that stated, ‘Show me your room before and after you clean it,’ followed by, ‘I’ll go first!’

She began by walking through the entrance of the spacious room and walked past a tower of boxes that were placed next to a brown chair and matching ottoman while giving an exasperated look towards the camera.

The mother-of-two was dressed casually to film the clip and donned a plain, blue T-shirt while her hair was parted in the middle, allowing her locks to fall down naturally past her shoulders.

As she nears the age of 50, the single mother of daughters – Olive, 10, and Frankie, 8 – admitted to People late last year in December that, ‘this has been the best decade of my life, without question.’ 

‘It wasn’t just the most awesome, it was the one where I feel like I’ve slayed more dragons than I ever have in my whole life,’ she said.

On the topic of positivity and happiness, she added, ‘As a kid and even in my 20s and 30s, happiness seemed like this very giddy, excited optimism. It is a choice. You have to work for that. It is hard to get to some days. And so when you’ve harnessed it, that feels like such a better victory.’ 

In 2013, Drew sold her 1937 country estate, located in beautiful Montecito, California, for $6.35million, which was well below the asking price of $7.5million.

The Charlie’s Angels star bought the two-acre home in 2010 for $5.7 million, so she was still able to walk away with a sizable profit.

The traditional home is six thousand square feet, has six bedrooms, seven and a half baths and an additional one bedroom guesthouse.

After moving from the mansion in 2013, Drew reportedly moved on to Manhattan duplex with her then-husband Will Kopelman while still having a California space.

When they split in 2016, Will moved to New York and Drew followed so that they could ‘carry on as a family’, despite being separated – adding that she didn’t want it to affect her kids. 

Following her move, she has since kept the details of her properties private.
