CEO of Dubai Airports: We are witnessing a steady improvement in the movement of departures

Dubai, April 20 / WAM / Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, confirmed that the movement of departures is witnessing a steady improvement.
He said that Dubai Airports is fully devoting its efforts to returning operational operations to normal as quickly as possible, providing assistance to travelers whose flights were delayed due to these exceptional weather conditions, and ensuring their care and arrival to their destinations as quickly as possible, following the weather conditions witnessed this week.

He stated that they are working hard and continuously to help passengers at the airport to facilitate their travel procedures and ease their burden.
He stressed that the safety of travelers is a top priority, saying, “Our teams continue to distribute food and water throughout the airport
To meet their needs.”
To reduce crowding, Griffiths asked all travelers to check directly with their airlines to obtain the latest information about their flights, and to arrive at the airport no more than two hours before their flights take off.
He said, “To give priority to departing flights, we have limited the number of incoming flights for a period of 48 hours, starting at 12 noon yesterday, Friday. We realize that this situation is causing inconvenience to many, so please accept our deepest apologies. These unprecedented circumstances pose unique challenges, and we are cooperating.” On a permanent basis with all relevant authorities and the airport community to address them.”

He concluded his statement by saying: “We appreciate our guests’ patience and cooperation during this period. Together, we will overcome this situation with flexibility and determination.”
