Vice President of Egypt October: Implementing the recommendations of the Culture Committee of the National Dialogue strengthens national identity
Engineer Ahmed Helmy, Vice President of the Egypt October Party for Organization and Administration Affairs, and Secretary-General of the Party in Alexandria Governorate, confirmed that the meeting held by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, with Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, to discuss the ministry’s plan to implement the outputs issued by the committee Culture and national identity through the national dialogue is a very important step, reflecting the government’s keenness to activate the outcomes of the dialogue in all sectors, including the cultural sector, which plays an important role in supporting and strengthening national identity, and protecting the Egyptian cultural heritage from extinction.
 
Helmy said, in press statements, that the national dialogue succeeded in formulating a large number of recommendations that were agreed upon by all factions participating in the dialogue, the most important of which was the establishment of a ministerial group of ministries and agencies concerned with the issue of national identity and Consolidating it along the lines of the Economic Community, while launching a strategy to preserve identity and shape awareness according to fair cultural development plans, agreed upon under inclusive political, cultural and intellectual leadership, taking into account Starting with the border governorates, and for Egyptians abroad to be part of this strategy.
The Vice Chairman of the Egypt October Party stressed the importance of issuing a document to preserve On the Egyptian identity and consolidating human values as a way of life for Egyptians, as well as ensuring the achievement of effective citizenship based on equality or participation, and promoting a culture of rejecting violence and hate speech and continuous awareness of their dangers, pointing out that the recommendations attached great importance to the Egyptian child through launching a special channel for children, with national production.
