Al Ain coach: We respect Al Hilal and trust ourselves to reach the AFC Champions League final

RIYADH, April 22 / WAM / Argentine Hernan Crespo, coach of Al Ain, said that his team is required to show self-confidence and respect for its opponent in order to qualify for the final match in the AFC Champions League.

Tomorrow, Al Ain will meet Al Hilal Saudi Arabia in the second leg of the AFC Champions League semi-finals at the Kingdom Arena in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The coach said during the press conference for the match: “Tomorrow we will work to show our best ability to achieve our goal.”

He added: “We have a clear mark in the tournament and we are proud of what we have achieved, but the result cannot be expected by anyone. We wish success in the return match.”

The Al Ain coach continued: “We came to Riyadh to show our best after the strong results we achieved, and we are proud to attend the semi-finals of the Asian Championship, and I hope for a massive public presence, especially since the true joy of football is complete with the public attendance.”

Hernan Crespo concluded by stressing that there are no secrets in the world of football, but rather trust and respect for the opposing team are the main factors for achieving goals.

Al Ain had won the first leg against Al Hilal Saudi Arabia 4-2, in the match that was held last Wednesday at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.
