Director of the junior football team: Great gains from winning the title in the Gulf Games

Abu Dhabi, April 23 / WAM / Issam Dhahi, the manager of our national junior football team under 17 years of age, described winning the gold medal in the first edition of the Gulf Games after winning in the last round yesterday, over the brotherly Kuwaiti team 2-0, as the best result of the efforts made in preparation. It highlighted the dedication of good players who represent a strong base for future ambitions.

He pointed out that the team’s good gains in this tournament enhance positive aspirations before moving on to participate in the Asian qualifiers scheduled for next October, which represents a great motivation for the players to continue the strong performance and show the appropriate technical performance.

He said, “There are many positives related to the plans for the future development of this team as a culmination of the interest and care of the Football Association’s Board of Directors, given the experiences gained from interacting with the players of the participating Gulf teams, playing matches with different technical schools, and building a strong base of elements capable of achieving success.” Good results in matches.”

The director of the national junior team praised the great efforts made by those organizing the first Gulf Youth Tournament competitions, the distinguished participation of the teams of Bahrain, Kuwait, and the Sultanate of Oman, and the technical levels witnessed in the football competitions, which brings many benefits to all participating teams.
