"Ras Al Khaimah Economy" It implements 43 initiatives and events that benefit 40,000 people

Ras Al Khaimah, April 23 / WAM / The Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah implemented 43 initiatives and activities during the first quarter of this year targeting employees, customers, partners, entrepreneurs, thalassemia patients, fasting people, and other different groups of society, bringing the number of beneficiaries to 39,958 beneficiaries.

The initiatives and events included several areas, including sustainability, innovation, reading, health, sports, humanitarian topics, and a Ramadan Majlis, in implementation of the department’s annual plans in coordination and cooperation with its partners.

Sami Muhammad Al-Rabah, Director of the Agency’s Corporate Communications Office, confirmed that the department prepares its operational plan for initiatives and events every year in a way that suits the needs of customers, partners and society and is consistent with the plans of the organizational units and their ongoing projects, and in a way that achieves the desired strategic goals to enhance social responsibility and strengthen communication frameworks with relevant authorities.

He explained that the activities were divided between 16 initiatives with partners, 19 community initiatives, and 8 of them for the department’s employees and customers. He explained that they included initiatives that support reading, blood donation campaigns, distribution of breakfast meals to popular markets in the emirate, and other events.

Al-Rabah expressed his thanks and appreciation for all the efforts made by the partners in making the department’s activities and initiatives a success during the first quarter of the current year.
