Zain and SACGC host workshop on digital innovation and entrepreneurship

This workshop came within the framework of the strategic partnership between Zain and SACGC, and is part of the Innovation Nation initiative that seeks to enhance creativity, innovation, and develop digital skills and entrepreneurship in society. The initiative seeks to exchange private sector experiences with students and graduates from schools and universities throughout Kuwait, and has contributed to empowering thousands of ambitious young people through dozens of interactive programs.

The workshop was attended by students and faculty members from the College of Life Sciences. It covered key topics such as founding startups, building effective teams, creating an influential brand, attracting potential investors, and developing strategies, services and products. The session also provided training for students to create their own startups and pitch them to investors to achieve sustainable growth.

This step is a continuation of the fruitful cooperation between Zain and the Information Sciences Department at the College of Life Sciences. Last year, Zain hosted a special tour of the Sabahiya Data Center for a group of graduate students from the department. The visit provided the students with a first-hand understanding of Zain’s advanced infrastructure and its role in supporting the digital transformation journey in Kuwait.

This initiative is added to the long list of programs that the Zain and Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity participated in presenting within the framework of their shared vision to achieve a number of strategic pillars, such as promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, honing youth skills, empowering startup owners, and investment. In digital skills for young people, and more.
