11 distinguished students joined the program "Youth Sail Ambassadors".

Sharjah, April 30, 2017 (WAM) – The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa) announced that 11 distinguished Emirati students from the University of Sharjah, the Higher Colleges of Technology, Zayed University, the United Arab Emirates University, and the American University of Sharjah have been selected to join the “Sheraa Youth Ambassadors” program.

The initiative is supported by the ICT Fund under the umbrella of the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), and the program provides a unique opportunity for young leaders to enhance their skills and expand their professional networks, which puts them at the forefront of the leadership scene in the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE.

The Shiraa Youth Ambassadors Program is designed to cultivate future entrepreneurs, as it embarks on a mission to develop the ambassadors’ innovation and leadership skills through specialized workshops, direct guidance from industry experts, and providing opportunities for effective communication, which prepares young people to become influential leaders in their communities and on the global level.

The “Youth Sail Ambassadors” program organized a dialogue session with Najla Al Midfa, Executive Director of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center, where the ambassadors communicated directly and in-depth with the senior leadership of the center, allowing them to explore new horizons in the world of business and discover valuable insights about entrepreneurship strategies and the arts of leadership, and contribute to deepening their understanding of the world of business. business and enhancing their leadership capabilities, paving the way for them to become entrepreneurs and future leaders in various economic sectors.

Within the program, ambassadors receive individual guidance sessions that provide ongoing support and guidance. The program also provides workshops such as the Startup Dojo program in Sheraa to evaluate and develop their ideas in the world of entrepreneurship, which enhances their practical skills and prepares them to assume leadership roles in their communities.

Najla Al Midfa stressed Sheraa’s commitment to providing these young people with the necessary knowledge and opportunities to emerge as future leaders in the world of entrepreneurship, strengthened by the spirit of leadership and innovation in the emirate.

Engineer Omar Al Mahmoud, CEO of the ICT Sector Development Fund, expressed his appreciation for the partnership with the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), stressing its role in empowering youth and promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in the ICT sector.

He said that the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, represented by the ICT Sector Development Fund, confirms its commitment to promoting these initiatives in line with the objectives of the “We Are the Emirates 2031” vision.

As Sheraa Youth Ambassadors begin their entrepreneurial journey, their primary mission goes beyond self-realization as they seek to inspire and raise the level of awareness among their fellow students to begin their entrepreneurial journey by validating their innovative ideas and integrating them seamlessly within Sheraa’s programs.

The list of ambassadors included: Amna Al Hammadi, Omar Al Falasi, Namah Jamal, Latifa Al Nuaimi, Shaima Yousef, Abdullah Muhammad Al Hammadi, Muhammad Al Zaabi, Tahani Al Azazi, Abdullah Ahmed Al Hammadi, Yousef Al Gergawi, Omar Al Ali.
