Education organizes sports tournaments in various governorates of the Republic

In light of the state’s plan to pay attention to sports activities, discover talented students, develop their abilities, and create the appropriate climate for students to practice student activities, the Central Administration for Student Activities at the Ministry of Education and Technical Education organized a number of tournaments in various sports activities in various governorates of the Republic.

Today, the closing activities of the Republic Schools “Hockey” Championship were held. For the secondary stage for boys 2024, which was organized by the Central Administration of Student Activities, through the General Administration of Physical Education, at the Sharkia Sports Club in the city of Zagazig in the Sharkia Governorate.

 

During the tournament’s closing activities, matches were held. The final, which resulted in the Eastern team (A) winning first place, the Cairo team (B) winning second place, the Cairo team (A) winning third place, and the Fayoum team winning fourth place.

 

< p>Dr. Iman Hassan, Head of the Central Administration for Student Activities, explained that the Republic Hockey Championship for the secondary stage for boys for the year 2024 was held with the participation of 8 teams from the governorates of (Cairo – Giza – Alexandria – Sharkia – Fayoum – Beni Suef), noting that Holding the tournament contributes to developing the spirit of fair competition among the participating teams and raising the value of sports that elevate the mind and contribute to presenting an individual with a strong constitution to build his country.

 

She continued that the participating teams were divided. The tournament was divided into two groups, where the first group included the governorates of (Beni Suef – Giza – Sharkia A – Cairo B) and the second group included the governorates of (Alexandria – Ali Al-Fayoum – Sharkia B – Cairo A).

 

 

The head of the Central Administration for Student Activities added that the Republic Hockey Championship is one of the tournaments that grant students the grades of sporting excellence, wishing all our students the best of luck in the upcoming tournaments.

This came in the presence of Dr. Iman Hassan, Head of the Central Administration for Student Activities, Engineer Ali Abdel Raouf, Director of the Directorate of Education in the Eastern Province, Dr. Jihan Anwar, Director General of the General Administration of Sports and Military Education, education leaders in the governorate, and leaders of the public administration. The General Administration of Physical and Military Education also held the “Wushu Kung Fu” festival. For school students for the primary and preparatory levels, boys/girls, nationwide, in cooperation with the Egyptian Wushu Kung Fu Federation.

 

Dr. Iman Hassan, Head of the Central Administration for Student Activities, explained that the goal of holding the festival is It is to spread the game among our sons and daughters students in all governorates in preparation for its inclusion in the republic’s championships, noting that the governorates of (Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Dakahlia, Gharbia, Beheira, Qalyubia, Ismailia, Sharkia, Red Sea, Qalyubia, Damietta, Port Said, Kafr El-Sheikh, Fayoum). The initial qualifiers were in the governorates between educational departments, then at the governorate level during the second half of February and March with the participation of 3,000 male and female students in (Methods and Sanda).

 

She added that 500 male and female students participated in the final festival, adding that the primary stage was divided into two parts, from the first to the third grade and from the fourth to the sixth grade. 

 

In a related context, the Ministry organized the Republic Schools Swimming Championship “First Day Races” For the secondary stage (boys), within the framework of interest in nurturing students’ talents and abilities and raising the health and physical competence of school students.

 

Dr. Jihan Allam, Director General of the General Administration of Sports and Military Education, said that it was Announcing the results of the Republic Schools Swimming Championship “First Day Races”, where John Wael Nagy Massad from Cairo Governorate won first place in the 50m freestyle race, and Mahmoud Tamer Mahmoud Abdel Majeed El Qadi from Giza Governorate won first place in the 50m breaststroke competition. In the 100 m butterfly competition, Omar Sharif Hamed from Cairo Governorate won first place, in addition to Abdel Rahman Khaled Zakaria Hussein from Cairo Governorate winning first place, in the 100 m backstroke competition.

 

In the 200 m freestyle competition, Iyad Ahmed Zakaria Bayoumi from Giza Governorate won first place, and in the 200 m breaststroke competition, Omar Tamer Ahmed Al-Sayed from Cairo Governorate won first place, while in the 400 m medley, first place was won by Yassin Mohamed Abdel Gawad Saeed Abd. Al-Jawad from Alexandria Governorate, in addition to Mohamed Essam Abdo Mahmoud from Ismailia Governorate winning first place in the 1500 m freestyle competition, and as for the 4 × 100 Miscellaneous: Yassin Muhammad Abdel Gawad Saeed, Bilal Muhammad Muhammad Badr Owais, Bilal Khaled Muhammad Hassan Abdel Baqi, and Muhammad Ayman Ibrahim Amin from Alexandria Governorate won first place.

 

In the same context, the Ministry organized the Republic Schools Athletics Championship (for the three stages) in the city of Alexandria (Alexandria Stadium) in the period from April 28 to April 29, 2024. This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education’s interest in sports activities and refining students’ physical and psychological skills and their role. In forming the integrated personality and discovering the athletic and creative talents of students.

 

The results of the championship were announced for the primary stage in the 50 m running competition, and Youssef Muhammad Ahmed Gharib won first place in Ismailia Governorate. First place in the 600 m running race was Stephen Nagy Magdy Girgis, Menoufia Governorate, and in the 200 m running race, Adam Muhammad Mustafa Abdel Raouf, Suez Governorate, won first place, and in the 1 km walking race, Sherif Khaled Muhammad Abdel Aleem, Alexandria Governorate, won first place.

 

In the high jump race, Asim Asim Ibrahim Ali from Cairo Governorate won first place, and in the long jump race, Ali Amr Ali from Cairo Governorate won first place, and in the shot put race, Suhaib Muhammad Hamed Ibrahim from Cairo Governorate won first place. Menoufia Governorate.

 

For the preparatory stage, Mahmoud Al-Sayyid Muhammad Ali won first place in Sharkia Governorate in the 100 m hurdles preparatory competition, and in the shot put race, Abdullah Mustafa Ragab won first place. Ghoneim from Dakahlia Governorate, and in the long jump and 100 m running race, Mazen Mahmoud Ahmed Mahmoud from Ismailia Governorate won first place, and in the 1500 m running and 800 m running races, Mohamed Mahmoud Fathi Abdel Wahab from Giza Governorate won first place, and in the 300 m running race, In the 200m running race, Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Eid, Cairo Governorate, won first place. In the 5k preparatory walking race, Mohamed Ragab Ahmed Abdel Fattah, Qalyubia Governorate, won first place, and in the 3000m running race, Ali Karam Ahmed Ibrahim, from Qena Governorate, won first place.

 

As for the results of the secondary stage in the 100 m running race, first place was won by Youssef Muhammad Kamal Zidan from Beheira Governorate, and in the 400 m running race, Adel Islam Al-Sayed Al-Jabali Khudair from Menoufia Governorate won first place. In the 110 m hurdles race, first place was won by Ziad Muhammad Yahya Ibrahim, Cairo Governorate, and in the 1500 m running race, Muhammad Fawzi Mahmoud Abdel Rahman, Fayoum Governorate, won first place, and in the long jump race, Basil Sameh Muhammad Mahmoud, Cairo Governorate, won first place, and in the javelin throw race. Ziad Ayman Samir Zaki, Sharkia Governorate, won first place, and in the 6k shot put competition, Adam Hazem Fouad Mohamed, Cairo Governorate, won first place.

 

In the 10k walking competition, Ziad won first place. Sherif Anis from Fayoum Governorate, and in the 400 m hurdles competition, Youssef Ismail Hashem Ismail, Giza Governorate, won first place, and in the 200 m hurdles race, Yassin Rami Muhammad Ibrahim, Alexandria Governorate, won first place.

 

In the 5000 running competition, first place was won by Youssef Bakr Ahmed Abu Bakr, Alexandria Governorate, first place was won in the high jump race, Omar Anas Al-Sayyid Suleiman, Alexandria Governorate, and in the triple jump race, first place was won by Basil Sameh Muhammad Mahmoud El Gamal, Cairo Governorate, and in the 800 m running race, he won In first place is Saif Muhammad Hassan Muhammad from Cairo Governorate.
