The Office of the Ruler of Umm Al Quwain mourns His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan
Umm Al Quwain, 1st May / WAM / The Court of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, mourned the late His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, the ruler’s representative in the Al Ain region, who passed away today.
Below is the text of the statement:
“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.. “O reassured soul, return to your Lord, satisfied and pleasing, so enter among My servants and enter My Paradise.”.. God Almighty has spoken the truth.. With hearts that believe in God’s will and destiny, the office of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al-Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al-Adha, mourns Al Quwain, the late His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, representative of the Ruler in the Al Ain region, who moved to the side of his Lord today.”
His Highness, the Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, extended his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and to all the honorable Al Nahyan family, asking the Almighty that the deceased’s mercy be bestowed upon him and his soul rest in peace, and that His Highness the President of the State inspire And patience and solace to all the honorable Nahyan family.
It was also decided to declare official mourning and lower the flags at half-mast in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain for a period of seven days, starting today.
