The Armed Forces congratulate the Christian brothers on the occasion of Easter

Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, sent a cable of congratulations to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Mark, on the occasion of the glorious Resurrection Day of 2024, which read:

 

"His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Mark… I am pleased to send to Your Holiness the warmest congratulations on the occasion of the glorious Resurrection Day, praying to God to bring it back to you and to the Coptic brothers from Egypt with health, goodness and blessings… and I would like to express to you my My pride and the pride of the Armed Forces in your patriotic stances, which always confirm that the people of Egypt, Muslims and Copts, are one fabric united by one homeland and one hopes for building Egypt and its rich and glorious history.

 

On this glorious occasion, I pay tribute. With the giving and sacrifices of the Coptic Armed Forces men and their fulfillment of the tasks and responsibilities for which they are entrusted, the Armed Forces and their men remain the strong shield protecting the homeland and the impenetrable fortress for the people… May God protect Egypt and bless your giving and may your Holiness have a fine year.

 

Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, also sent a similar cable of congratulations to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Mark, on this occasion.

 

Lieutenant General Muhammad Zaki issued a The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the Minister of Defense and Military Production issued a directive to congratulate the Coptic leaders, officers, non-commissioned officers, military industrialists, soldiers, and civilian workers in the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Military Production on the occasion of the celebration of the Glorious Resurrection Day.

 

He also issued Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, issued a similar directive to congratulate Coptic leaders, officers, non-commissioned officers, military craftsmen, soldiers, and civilian workers in the Armed Forces on the same occasion.
