The Mufti of the Republic condemns the brutal attacks of Israeli forces on the Palestinian city of Rafah
Dr. Shawqi Allam, Mufti of the Republic and Head of the General Secretariat of Fatwa Houses and Bodies in the World, condemned, in the strongest terms, the continued brutal attacks by the Israeli occupation on displaced children, women and civilians in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, which is home to approximately 1.4 million displaced Palestinians. Because it is the last safe area in the Gaza Strip; Which led to the fall of dozens of martyrs and wounded, warning of a horrific humanitarian catastrophe in addition to the crimes of the occupation.
The Mufti of the Republic said – in a statement today, Tuesday – “These brutal crimes and attacks are added to the series of Israeli crimes against The Palestinian people who demand their legitimate rights, and this dangerous escalation threatens the lives of more than 1,400,000 Palestinians who rely primarily on the Rafah crossing as the main lifeline of the Gaza Strip, and the safe outlet for the wounded and sick to exit to receive treatment, and for the entry of humanitarian and relief aid to our Palestinian brothers in Gaza.
He pointed out that the occupation forces are flouting international laws and humanitarian principles, amid complete silence from the international community, pointing out that these brutal attacks devoid of all human feelings are a disgrace to humanity.
p>He expressed his strong denunciation and condemnation of the Israeli occupation’s intensification of attacks and assaults on the Palestinian people and its deliberate brutal attacks on the displaced in the city of Rafah. The resulting fall of thousands of innocent Palestinian martyrs, whether dead or wounded, describing these brutal attacks as “full-fledged war crimes.”
The Mufti of the Republic stressed that the Israeli occupation thirsts for more shedding of the blood of children, women, the elderly, and innocent people. And targeting hospitals, schools and places of worship in full view of the whole world.
The Mufti called for the necessity of uniting all international and regional efforts and all rational people around the world and international organizations to stop the brutal Israeli attacks on the city of Rafah.
