Bucks star Patrick Beverley ‘under POLICE investigation’ after throwing ball at Pacers fans during NBA playoffs
Milwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley is under police investigation after throwing a ball at an Indiana Pacers fan during Game 6 of their first-round playoff series.
On Wednesday, TMZ confirmed that the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is taking up a case report after Beverley hurled the ball twice toward a Pacers fan at Gainsbridge Fieldhouse. However, he appeared to miss his target with the first throw and instead caught a lady in the head, which warranted the second.
The representative from IMPD told TMZ the report has been forwarded to detectives, who are trying to access more footage of the incident from the arena and get statements from the parties involved.
The source also added that detectives are expected to send their findings to prosecutors as soon as they finish the probe.
