Egypt hosts the African Paralympic Track Cycling Championship

The Confederation of African Cycling has assigned the organization of the African Paralympic Cycling Championship to Egypt, which is scheduled to be held during the period from 5 to 11 next June.

 

The competitions include track and road cycling, The importance of the tournament is due to its being a qualifier for the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.

 

The African Union agreed to assign the organization of the tournament to Egypt in light of its ability to organize major sporting events and the availability of the huge construction infrastructure.

 

The championship competitions will be held at the cycling track at Cairo International Stadium, which previously hosted the World Cycling Championships, as well as the African Championship recently, while the road competitions will be held in Mokattam. < /p>

 

The Egyptian Paralympic Committee, headed by Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, pays great attention to sports for people with disabilities in coordination and cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the sports federations that place Paralympic activity on their agenda.
