Secretary-General of the United Nations: A comprehensive attack on Rafah will be "Humanitarian catastrophe"

 United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres confirmed today, Wednesday, that the comprehensive attack on the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip; It would be a humanitarian catastrophe.

Guterres wrote – via the social networking site “X”: – The attack will lead to countless more civilian casualties, indicating that countless numbers of families were forced to flee again, without having a safe place to go.

 

He added, “At the same time, the repercussions will be felt much further, in the occupied West Bank, and throughout the region.”
