The Ministry of Culture and the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority cooperate to promote a culture of sustainable national development
Abu Dhabi, 8 May / WAM / The Ministry of Culture and the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority signed a memorandum of understanding to develop and implement joint initiatives and projects that would achieve the goals of spreading the culture of sustainable national development.
The memorandum, which was signed by the two sides on the sidelines of the activities of the 33rd session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, contributes to strengthening effective partnership relations to achieve common strategic goals between the two parties, as well as spreading community awareness, exchanging knowledge, and enhancing the role of community members in preserving national identity and heritage, through presenting community ideas and initiatives. Cultural.
His Excellency Mubarak Al Nakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, said that the Ministry seeks, through its effective strategic partnerships with local cultural entities, to enhance national culture among members of society, and to chart comprehensive and integrated cultural paths to achieve and translate the vision of the wise leadership and the UAE government, in preserving national identity and enhancing belonging. For his part, His Excellency Nasser Al Yamahi, Executive Director of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, stressed the importance of the partnership, stressing that cooperation with the Ministry of Culture contributes to achieving the goals of the Fujairah Strategic Plan and the Authority’s plans towards strengthening the cultural and creative sector at the emirate level, and highlighting the importance of this sector in supporting the development process at the level of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority. State, and comes in line with the vision of the wise leadership and its directives to preserve national identity.
The memorandum stipulates supporting creative, developmental and innovative skills through institutional partnership between the two parties, working to enhance the spirit of loyalty and belonging to the homeland and leadership, strengthening its foundations and maintaining its sustainability, in addition to participating in occasions and activities related to national and cultural identity organized by the two parties.
The memorandum also stipulates cooperation in implementing specialized and cultural artistic courses and programs, exchanging experiences and information in the fields of culture, especially in the fields of antiquities, heritage, arts, and creative industries, and implementing any projects and initiatives that serve to achieve the objectives of this memorandum.
