A visit by students of the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University to the site of the Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant

Within the framework of the Nuclear Power Plants Authority’s interest in achieving effective communication with the parties concerned with the Dabaa Project, including Egyptian universities and research centers regarding Egypt’s national project, the Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant Project, and in order to activate the national role in spreading nuclear culture and taking care of public acceptance of the project, the Nuclear Power Plants Authority To generate electricity, headed by Dr. Amjad Al-Wakil, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and in cooperation with Cairo University, organizing a field visit for students of the Faculty of Arts, Surveying, Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing Program to the site of the Dabaa nuclear plant on Thursday, May 9, 2024.

 

The visit began with a lecture that reviewed the most important features of the achievements witnessed by the Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant project, followed by a field visit to learn about the various works and activities taking place at the site, where the students visited the first nuclear unit at the site and listened to an explanation from specialists at the Nuclear Power Plants Authority about the situation. Executive and achievements made on the ground to complete the implementation of the Dabaa nuclear station project.

 

The Cairo University delegation praised the unprecedented achievements they saw in the project to establish the Dabaa nuclear station, and the students expressed Expressing their gratitude for organizing that visit 

 

In conclusion, the Cairo University delegation presented a memorial shield in the name of the Faculty of Arts to Dr. Amjad El-Wakeel, Chairman of the Board of Directors, in appreciation of the efforts of the Nuclear Power Plants Authority to generate electricity and its national role in Implementing the Egyptian National Project, the Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant Project.
