Gold earns $9 in spot transactions

Capitals, May 10 / WAM / Gold prices rose during today’s trading, gaining about $9 in spot transactions.

By 09:11 am UAE time, the yellow metal rose by 0.39 percent, or $8.93, to reach $2,355.09 per ounce.

Gold contracts, for delivery in June 2024, increased by 0.92 percent, or the equivalent of $21.9, to reach $2,362.35 per ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, silver rose by 1.2 percent to $28.7 per ounce, platinum increased by 0.26 percent to $978.28, while palladium rose 0.57 percent to $977.78.
