For his part, Dr. Amer Al-Shoubaki, a Jordanian economic researcher specializing in energy affairs, confirmed that Egypt and Jordan represent a model for Arab relations in various fields, especially economic ones. Al-Shobaki stressed the necessity of continuing the committee’s work intensively and implementing the results that emerge while removing all obstacles that hinder the promotion and advancement of economic and trade exchange between the two countries, revealing the existence of many projects, especially in the field of energy between Egypt. And Jordan, which makes them a major center for energy, especially renewable energy, in the region and enhances Arab-Arab cooperation and integration in light of the challenges facing the Arab nation, especially in the economic and energy sectors.

He stressed the necessity of activating bilateral agreements linking Jordan and Egypt in many vital fields, organizing trade missions, business forums, and joint exhibitions, and strengthening cooperation between the private sectors in the two countries, leading to commercial partnerships and contributing to increasing the volume of trade exchange, especially in terms of increasing Jordanian exports to the Egyptian market and removing any Obstacles to it, and vice versa, and encouraging them to establish joint investments.

 

Sawalha expressed his hope that the next stage will witness an effective economic movement between the two countries and move their economic relations to broad horizons that achieve the common interests of the two brotherly peoples. In this regard, he pointed to the Egyptian trade mission that will visit Jordan tomorrow, Saturday, which includes 35 commercial and industrial companies specialized in the food industry.
