Paris 2024: Antoine Dupont torchbearer of the Olympic flame on May 17 in Toulouse

A first Olympic taste for Antoine Dupont. Whoever participates in the Olympics for the first time this summer with the French rugby sevens team will have the honor of being one of the Olympic torchbearers, Friday May 17, in Toulouse. The torch relay will stop in Haute-Garonne and it is planned to pass, at the end of the day, through the Ernest-Wallon stadium, the home of Stade Toulousain, reigning French champions. The name of the last torchbearer, who will light the cauldron for the evening, has not yet been revealed.

The flame arrived in Marseille on Wednesday and will pass through the hands of 10,000 “scouts” in 400 cities in France, to end its journey in Paris and set the cauldron ablaze during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics on July 26.
