Rory McIlroy ‘files for DIVORCE’ from wife Erica Stoll after seven years of marriage – just three days before the 2024 PGA Championship

PGA Tour star Rory McIlroy has filed for divorce from wife, Erica, according to a report. 

The 35-year-old is said to have filed the documents on Monday just three days before the start of the PGA Championship, the second major of the year, according to TMZ. 

The filing in a Florida court comes seven years after the couple, who share a three-year-old daughter Poppy who was born in 2000, tied the knot in 2017. 

Reasons for their split were not made readily available. 

The Northern Irishman first met Eric during the 2012 Ryder Cup, which she was working.
