The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques welcomes the guests of God who have begun arriving to the Kingdom to perform the Hajj
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, chaired the session held by the Council of Ministers, today, in Jeddah.
At the beginning of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques welcomed the guests The Most Merciful, who began arriving from all over the world to the Kingdom to perform the Hajj, stressing that serving the ancient House of God and the Mosque of His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, caring for those who go to them, and ensuring their comfort; It is one of the most important priorities of this blessed state and its greatest concern.
He directed the authorities concerned with implementing Hajj plans to continue providing the best procedures and the highest quality services to the guests of God in the various ports of the Kingdom, and in Mecca, Medina, and the Holy Sites, asking God Almighty. May everyone succeed in carrying out this great and solemn task in the most complete manner.
After that, the Council of Ministers was briefed on the entire talks that took place during the past days between the Kingdom and various countries, Including the phone call that His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister received from the President of Ukraine, which included a review of bilateral relations and a discussion of a number of issues of common interest.
The Minister of Information, Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari, explained in his statement after the session that the Council discussed a set of reports on the latest developments in the situation and its developments on the regional and international arenas, indicating that the Kingdom participates with the countries of the world in the endeavors aimed at establishing global security and stability, and effective cooperation in the field of relief. In this context, the Council of Ministers welcomed the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of a resolution supporting granting the State of Palestine full membership in the organization, Regarding the emphasis on the need to stop the Israeli military escalation and the violations committed against defenseless civilians and workers in humanitarian and relief organizations.
The Council reviewed the topics on its agenda, including: Among them are topics that the Shura Council participated in studying, and it also reviewed the conclusions of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, the Council of Political and Security Affairs, the General Committee of the Council of Ministers, and the Experts Committee of the Council of Ministers regarding them. The Council concluded with several decisions, including:
Authorizing the Minister of Interior, or his representative, to discuss with the American side a draft memorandum of understanding in the field of exchanging criminal information between the Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Justice in the United States of America, and to sign it.Amendment Article Three of the organization of the National Authority for the Implementation of Chemical and Biological Weapons Conventions, with the Authority’s Council headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the membership of representatives of a number of parties.
