Conclusion of joint maritime training activities "Red Wave – 7"
The joint naval training activities “Red Wave 7” concluded. With the participation of elements from the naval forces of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Yemen and Djibouti, the activities continued for several days in the territorial waters of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which comes within the framework of the joint training plan for the Egyptian Armed Forces with friendly and brotherly countries.
The training included a contract Many lectures to unify the concepts of joint work among all participating elements, as well as training on responding to speedboat attacks and training on the right of visit and inspection, in addition to implementing various sailing formations that demonstrated the extent of harmony between the units participating in the training.
The final phase of the training included carrying out a practical demonstration of storming one of the coastal islands under the cover of the air force’s preliminary fire, as well as providing air assistance to the forces and reconnaissance and securing the coast of the island, in preparation for the advance of the forces and the successful implementation of the storm.
The final phase of the training was attended by a number of commanders of the naval forces of the countries participating in the training and a number of students from the Egyptian Naval College and the Military Technological College.
