Nour Al-Tayeb, Wadi Degla player, qualifies for the final of the Manchester Open Squash Championship

Wadi Degla club player, Nour Al-Tayeb, qualified for the final of the Manchester Open Squash Championship – one of the silver tournaments – bringing the Degla champion closer to winning the title and continuing to improve her world ranking.

Deglawyah Nour Al-Tayeb advanced to the final match, after defeating her club colleague Rawan Al-Arabi with a score of (3-0) by points (11-7) (11-1) (11-1).

The Manchester Open Squash Championship is one of the silver tournaments in the game of squash, and the tournament will be held from May 22 to 26, with prize money amounting to $75,000.

The Wadi Degla clubs have contributed effectively. In developing the game of squash in Egypt by establishing the largest number of squash courts in the world, amounting to 82 courts in 9 different branches, it also established the largest academy in the world with the number of players reaching more than 2,500 male and female players, and the results of these efforts were reflected in the club team winning the championship. The General Squash League for 6 consecutive seasons, and Egypt won international championships, in addition to its players topping the international classification of the game.
