3 medical convoys in Alexandria provide free treatment services to 3,652 patients

The Directorate of Health Affairs in Alexandria organized 3 medical convoys in the Burj Al-Arab and Al-Ajami medical regions, during the past two weeks, in the Banjar 18, Al-Ula, and Marine Arm units.

The Directorate stated that the “Maritime Arm Unit” convoy It included 5 medical specialties, internal medicine, children, women, surgery and dentistry, with the participation of 34 members of the medical team and their assistants in the directorate and its affiliated units, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, technicians, administrators and workers, and the “Banjar Unit 18” convoy, which included 7 medical specialties, namely internal medicine, children, women, surgery, dermatology, family planning and dentistry, with the participation of 36 members of the medical team and assistants. For them.

The “Al-Ula Unit” convoy included 7 medical specialties, namely internal medicine, children’s, women’s, surgery, dentistry, family planning, and dermatology, and 38 members of the medical team and their assistants participated.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Alexandria, Dr. Mohamed Badran, indicated that during the convoys, medical examinations were conducted on 3,652 patients, treatment was given completely free of charge to them, and 27 cases were transferred to hospitals. affiliated with the Directorate to complete examinations or make other interventions and issue treatment decisions at state expense.

Dr. Rasha Jibril, coordinator of the treatment convoys for Alexandria Health, added that during the convoys, 661 medical analyzes were performed in the blood laboratory in the convoys, and 521 analyzes were performed in the parasitology laboratory, in addition to examining 427 of the patients’ companions for the purpose of early detection of pressure and diabetes. The convoys also provided health education to 952 people. Citizens from the two regions in a number of health issues.
