Gold earns $7 in spot transactions

Capitals, May 17, WAM: Gold prices rose during today’s trading, gaining about $7 in spot transactions.

By 10:12 am UAE time, the yellow metal rose by 0.29 percent, or $6.92, to reach $2,383.65 per ounce.

Gold contracts, for delivery in June 2024, increased by 0.1 percent, or $2.3, to reach $2,387.7 per ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, silver rose by 0.23 percent to $29.94 per ounce, platinum increased by 0.7 percent to $1,078.4, while palladium decreased by 0.12 percent to $992.
