60 Minutes star is OUSTED from show over ‘insubordinate’ behavior… and now she has dared her CBS News bosses to fire her from network

The 60 Minutes star who clashed with CBS executives over a report critical of the Trump administration is now no longer with the program.
The network declined to renew correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi’s contract as it expired on Saturday, The New York Times first reported.
The decision comes six months after a last-minute decision to temporarily pull an Alfonsi segment then set to speak about ‘brutal and tortuous conditions’ at a prison in El Salvador where officials have deported suspected illegal immigrants.
When asked about her exit Wednesday, Alfonsi outright told the Times: ‘It sends a chilling message to the entire newsroom.’
In internal emails obtained by the Los Angeles Times, Alfonsi told her colleagues that Weiss’s decision to not air the December piece was ‘political.’ She also complained to the press – actions CBS execs saw as ‘insubordinate,’ several told the Times
Longtime 60 Minutes star Anderson Cooper recently left the program as well. His exit involved frustrations with CBS executives, Status previously reported.
The Daily Mail approached CBS News for comment.
